Vikram Kalra

CO-FOUNDER

An artist and a photographer, Vikram was born and brought up in Delhi. He completed B.F.A, graphic design in 1988 from Delhi. A creative professional, Vikram Kalra’s interest lies both in drawing and photography. His interest lies in historical buildings and he captures them in both mediums.

He has authored 4 books- Patiala, Amritsar, Kapurthala, and Sentinels of Raisina Hill (The last book was released by the then CM of Delhi on the occasion of 100 years of Delhi in Dec 2011). These books contain striking sketches and photographs of these places. He has also been drawing various colonial buildings for the Indian Army.

He has done a complete series of about 50 drawings on the old city of Delhi- “Shahajahanabad – A journey through Old Delhi”. The series contain drawings of various buildings/monuments of old Delhi from the Pre Shahjahan period to the British period. The medium used is pen and ink in these works. The project took about 12 years of research work for completion. The works were exhibited in Delhi in 2007.

He has also done a series of photo-paintings, “ Delhi-A journey though Night”. It is through series of works in photography and digital mediums where he has explored various aspects of the city at Night, which was exhibited in Delhi in 2009.

His last exhibition , “From Red Fort to Raisina Hill” was held in 2011 in Delhi. He had explored the history of the city from the times of emperor Shahjahan who ruled the city in the 17th century till the making of New Delhi in 1911 by the British.

His works are in the collection of the Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Army and many private collections.

Heritage Walks And Educational Tours For Students

Vikram has been conducting heritage walks for Guests from different countries in Delhi for the past 15 years out of passion for his works on Delhi. He has been doing these walks/tours directly or through the Travel agencies. All the tours are customized as per the requirements of the guests.

Vikram has been associated with a number of educational institutions in Delhi for the past 20 years and has been teaching different subjects like Design, Still Photography and Visual communication.

He has also been offering various Educational Programs / Tours for Students from University to Middle school levels. All the tours are tailor-made with interaction of teachers and as per the requirements of the students. The main aim of these tours is to expand students’ horizons of thinking by learning about our history and cultural heritage through visiting historical places and monuments.

Vibhu Kalra

CO-FOUNDER

Having completed his graduation degree in BBA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, Vibhu holds an MBA degree in finance from IFMR Business School. Apart from being a rank holder in BBA, Vibhu has also worked in NGOs and various programs associated with the education sector, making sure to give back to society more than he takes. Vibhu worked with ANZ for a couple of months before joining Northern Arc Capital Limited (formerly known as IFMR Capital) where he has worked for the past two and a half years.

He was not only the man behind the inception of Model United Nations Conference at IFMR in 2016, but what's most fascinating about him are his exemplary skills to outwit the opponent in the game of Chess. His prowess in the game helped him to earn appreciation with the achievement of getting an International Chess rating in 2014 by the International Chess Federation in 2014. Playing guitar and listening to music are his major hobbies along with his acting skills, which add a charm to his persona. Vibhu is always curious about trying out new things and to explore varied spheres.
